What makes an individual powerful?
Well, I think a individual gets power by his surroundings. If people like him, then he is one step closer to gaining power. Another way one gains power is by their attitude. If you have a pesstimistic attitude, you will never get far, but if you have confidance, then you will have better luck gaining power. Thats how I think an individual gains power.
Well Banquo, you must not have had too much confidence. I thought you had a great attitude towards life, not letting what the witches told you go to your head. But then Macbeth has you murdered. Do you think if you had to face him alone in a fight your confidence would have helped you win? Macbeth clearly didn't want to face you which is why he sent murderers.
